Axl Rose Demandado Por EL Museo Del Arte De L.A
Rocker AXL ROSE has been sued for damages by a Los Angeles art dealer who claims he backed out of a deal to buy $2.3 million (GBP1.2 million) ANDY WARHOL portrait of JOHN LENNON. The Acquire d'Arte gallery has told Los Angeles Superior Court that after agreeing to buy the painting Rose's manager advised them his client no longer liked the price and had insufficient funds to pay for it. The gallery is now demanding $1.1 million (GBP580,000) in compensation. The GUNS N' ROSES star's lawyer HOWARD WEITZMAN refutes the lawsuit, telling the New York Daily News, "Axl owes nothing. (He) may be the victim of a fraud or misrepresentation."
